It also outlines our specific obligations as a Technology Provider operating on the Meta Business Messaging platform.

1. Our Role as a Technology Provider and Data Processor
We provide the Service as a Technology Provider for our business customers (“Customers,” “you,” “your”). In the context of the data you process through our Service (specifically Recipient Data and Message Content), you are the “Data Controller,” and Netpap acts as the “Data Processor.” We only process this data on your behalf and according to your instructions, in compliance with our Terms and Conditions and the Meta Business Messaging Technology Provider Terms.

A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you register, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and password.
- Payment Information: We collect payment details to process transactions. These are handled by secure third-party payment processors.
- Recipient Data: You upload or import contact lists of your message Recipients, which typically include phone numbers.
- Message Content: We process the content of the messages you send to your Recipients.
- Communications: We collect information you provide when you contact us for support.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Data: We collect information about your interaction with our Service, like IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
- Cookies: We use cookies to track activity on our Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
- Process your transactions and manage your subscription.
- Transmit your Message Content to Recipients via the WhatsApp Business Platform, as directed by you.

4. How We Share and Disclose Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- With Meta (WhatsApp): To provide the Service, we must share Recipient Data and Message Content with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform for the sole purpose of transmitting your messages. This processing is governed by the Data Protection Addendum between Netpap and Meta. Your use of our Service is also subject to Meta’s data policies.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing and hosting. They are obligated to protect your data.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law.
- Business Transfers: Your information may be transferred in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or acquisition of our business.
5. Strict Restrictions on Data Use
In accordance with our obligations to Meta, we strictly adhere to the following restrictions regarding data obtained through the Service:
- No Profiling: With the exception of the content of message threads, we will not use any data to track, build, or augment profiles of individual consumer users (your Recipients).
- No Sale or Transfer: We will not share, transfer, sell, license, or distribute any data from the Service (including anonymous, aggregate, or derived forms of such data) to any third parties, except as required to provide the Service.
- No Retargeting: We will not use any data obtained from the Service to retarget individuals on or off of WhatsApp or other Meta Company services, nor will we combine that data with any third-party data sources.
6. Data Security and Retention
- Security: We implement a variety of security measures, including encryption and firewalls, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
- Retention: We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. In compliance with our legal obligations, we will retain written records relating to our access and use of User Data for a period of at least one (1) year after any termination or expiration of our agreement with you.
